Studio Fee
We charge for the price of each ceramic piece plus
a studio fee of
$10.00
per adult and $7.00 per child painting. The studio fee includes paints and any supplies you need
to complete your piece including the assistance of our staff and the design
computer. The glazing
& firing of each piece is included. The studio fee allows you
unlimited time and materials for the day. Should you wish to work on your
piece on another day then you must pay the studio fee for that day. There is a small firing fee for pieces
painted at home.
Breakage
Should an accident occur to your piece while you are painting, and the piece
is beyond repair, Color Me Mine will replace your damaged piece at 1/2 the
original price. Final charges will include both pieces and the studio
fee.
Should you break or damage bisque, equipment or supplies we reserve the right
to charge a fair replacement fee.
Payment
We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, cash and personal
checks. Payment with a personal check requires a driver's license and phone
number. A fee of $15 will be charged for all returned checks. We can no
longer accept children or pets as payment, no matter how cute they may be.
Pickup
Your completed masterpiece will be ready for pickup one week
after the day you finish painting. Your receipt will indicate the date we
expect your piece to be ready for pickup. We will hold your finished
pieces for 14 days after they are ready for pickup.
Imperfections
Handmade ceramics is not an exact science. Please don't expect perfection
from yourself or the medium. The imperfections you might see in your piece
reflect the nature of a hand crafted process. We have more than a 97%
success rate in firing bisque but a lost work is possible. While their occurrence is
rare, accidents can happen in the firing process. Color Me Mine will
make every attempt to fix any technical problem and will issue full credit in
the event that your piece is damaged due to circumstances beyond our control.
Store credit only, no cash refunds.
Storing Pieces
We have a small studio so cannot store a large amount of materials.
Finished pieces will be held for 14 days. After that, all pieces become the
property of Color Me Mine.
We often display our customers' works of art. We may even feature
finished pieces for display in our studio and web site. Unless you notify
us otherwise we assume you agree to having your work shared.
Credits and Gift Certificates
Store credits are good for one year from the date issued. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash or returnable.
First Rule
Our policy is that everyone has fun. We want you and all our guests to
have an enjoyable art experience and we will do everything to help you and all
other guests to have fun. We know you want to have fun and know you will
respect the desire of other guests to have fun.
