ASP Older but still useful Active Server Pages for dynamic and server-based web applications
ADO The ActiveX Data Object for a wide range of data sources
ADO.NET The ActiveX Data Object extended and enhanced for Microsoft .Net
VB.Net The latest version of Visual Basic, optimized to operate in the Microsoft .Net framework
FrontPage Microsoft's product for the development and maintenance of web sites
SharePoint Portal Server Microsoft's powerful and extensible information portal server to support web-based information sharing
Data Manipulation Technologies and Products
SQL Structured Query Language used to access and manipulate structured data, often in a rational database
Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft's relational database management system that can support large scale applications
Microsoft Access Microsoft's much maligned relational database system that can be used for prototyping and small scale applications
VBA Visual Basic for Applications is a form of Visual Basic that allows manipulation and extension of several of the Microsoft Office applications.  We have implements applications using it in Excel, Access, Work and Outlook.

WMI Windows Management Instrumentation classes of virtually all parts of modern Windows internal information
ADSI Active Directory Service Interfaces which allows for the searching and manipulation of the Windows Active Directory
WSH Windows Scripting Host which implements a range of scripting technologies in Windows
VBScript A simple, object oriented scripting language that allows manipulation of Windows objects
