We have been delivering software for more than 30 years using the latest commercially viable technologies at the time. We currently use Microsoft .Net and Office technologies among others. We try to be as technology agnostic as possible since we know that technology is just a means to a more important end.
We are pleased to help our clients with their information systems requirements no matter how small or large the effort. We may provide just an hour or two of advisory consulting or we may become engaged to deliver a multi-month project. Contact us with any query in regard to how we can help.
In the last few years we have developed and delivered several web sites that act as information portals for our clients. These systems are more than just web sites in that they provide a way for interaction of information between the web site organization and their customers.
One example is a system we developed for a contemporary pottery studio. The web site allows the management of the studio to use secure web applications to enter events such as classes, special events and parties into an on-line database. Various pages on their web page dynamically display appropriate information from the database. The on-line calendar is a primary interface for this information as well. The various information in the database is used for creating the studio's staffing plan which we developed in Excel and VBA. The result is a very powerful organic and complete information system for our client.
Another example is a web site for a personal care shop to allow on-line reservations via their web site. The manager of the shop uses a secure web application to specify which appointment slots are available for reserving via their on-line calendar. Their customers can book their appointments on-line any time of day which increases bookings at the shop while reducing the effort required by both customers and the shop. The portal allows non computer literate personnel at the shop to manage their key information easily.
